| This trio of artists’ works at the Flag Art Foundation is like a tiny box of chocolates with no key. Each piece is a surprise with a known and coveted taste. The Koons pieces are explosively bright and amaze with their trickery that can masquerade steel as light and buoyant vinyl pool toys. Charles Ray’s Boy emanates a deliciously pensive, almost spiritual air, and in Cecily Brown’s Figures in a Landscape 1 flesh melds with plant life in a sublime unison of abstraction and figuration. @ The Flag Art Foundation, Jan 20th-May 14th |
